      <image:caption>Early childhood education has been my passion for more than 25 years.  I have worked as an international educator in schools in the Netherlands, China, Singapore and Switzerland in a variety of roles; as a teacher, PYP coordinator, assistant principal and school director.  As an independent consultant, I have travelled the globe to work with schools, facilitate workshops and present at conferences.  I am experienced with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) as a workshop leader and content developer. I have worked with the PYP development team in the Hague on the enhanced PYP and was responsible for developing materials around agency, early years, learning environments and leadership. From May 2019 until April 2023, I supported the implementation of the IB PYP as a classroom teacher and PYP coordinator at two local schools in The Hague. Since August 2023, I collaborate with schools as a full time independent educational consultant. My aim is to support educators to develop a shared pedagogy based on honouring young children as amazing learners.</image:caption>

With over 20 years of experience leading professional development for teachers around the world—both online and in-person—he has facilitated webinars and courses for organisations such as Toddle, ELSA, and the IB, and led workshops in more than 20 countries. Sean creates professional learning experiences that are interactive and thought-provoking, helping educators connect ideas, refine their thinking, and apply practical strategies from the classroom. He encourages adult learners to ask questions, explore concepts deeply, and pursue personal inquiries. Currently, Sean teaches 3- and 4-year-olds at the International School of Paris, where he has worked for 17 years, teaching across Kindergarten through Grade 5.</image:caption>
